Rockville Science Day offers hands-on programs for students of all ages.  Build & launch a rocket, scope out some solar astronomy, interact with robotics, visit Maryland’s underwater archaeology & the Baltimore & Chesapeake Steamboat Company’s exhibits, and much more! Organized by the Rockville Consortium for Science, a program of the Rockville Science Center, and co-sponsored by the City of Rockville & Montgomery College.  Free event with free parking; food available.  Rain or Shine. http://www.rockvillescience.org/rcsday.html

Schedule: 12:00 pm — members and guests arrive 12:30 pm — Update on B&CSC activities & coming events 1:00 pm — pot luck luncheon (bring a dish to share) 2:45 pm — Hidden Harbor Series – The B&O’s Marine Operations in Baltimore Harbor’s 100 Years on the Water ‘More or Less’ by John Teichmoeller 4:00 pm — special tour 5:00 pm — Abandon Ship! [for home port, that is….]
