    Forces Day Observance for all Branches.

  • 11:30 am, National Maritime Day Commemoration Ceremonies & Wreath-casting aboard the Nuclear Ship Savannah.
  • Tour visiting municipal and private vessels as well as the Nuclear Ship Savannah, which will have special guided engine room tours. Vessels are not handicap accessible; closed-toe shoes are required for boarding all vessels.
  • Free Shuttle land-based Port Tours.
  • All-day Fife, Drum & Bugle Jam Session sponsored by B&CSC.

  • Display of LEGO Model Ships.
  • Radio-Controlled Model Ships boat pond.
  • Listen in with our N.S. Savannah Amateur HAM Radio Club.
  • Visit heritage organizations that preserve the maritime history of the port, exhibits by maritime industry and enjoy activities.
  • Maritime surprises for the young and young-at-heart.
  • Free Event; Free Parking; Rain or Shine.
  • Local Food Truck vendors will be available.

Local Directions
Take O’Donnell or Boston Street and turn Right at Newkirk Street. Follow Newkirk Street, South to the end and Turn Right onto Newgate Avenue. Follow yellow & blue Event Signs.

Handicap Parking: follow yellow & blue Event Signs to N.S. SAVANNAH on Pier 13, Canton Marine Terminal (Savannah is moored just behind the grain elevator).

Directions
I-95 South towards FT McHenry Tunnel or
I-95 North transiting the FT McHenry Tunnel (Toll $4)-get in RIGHT LANE as exit is immediate!!

EXIT #56 – Keith Ave.

Turn LEFT at traffic light to proceed to New Vail Street.

At next traffic light, turn Right onto New Vail Street, proceed down the ramp that viers right and follow yellow & blue Event Signs.

Handicap Parking: follow yellow & blue Event Signs to N.S. SAVANNAH on Pier 13, Canton Marine Terminal (Savannah is moored just behind the grain elevator).
